Will you help me stay accountable?

By

This is a time when most of us begin to waiver on our New Year’s resolutions
(remember those?).  So, I’ve decided to keep those fires burning and begin
a simple body detox plan this week. Believe it or not, it is the first time I’ve
ever done something this extreme in terms of detox.

So these next two weeks will be focused on recounting my journey through this
process.  I will begin the Ease-In phase this Tuesday and be in high-gear from
Friday until Monday, 1/31.  To me 2010 is a year of completely new beginnings.
So, why not kick it off with a body detox?

I’ll be doing the Master Cleanse/Lemonade Diet.  Now, let me just state for the record
that I do not get paid or support the Master Cleanse enterprise.  From what I can tell

it is a simple process and, being a single mom, simple is what I’m all about.  But that

doesn’t mean it is easy.   I can’t eat food for 10 days while I flush out my system and

get rid of toxins.  However, I am including one thing to the mix to keep my nutrition as

up to speed as possible and that is to continue taking Juice Plus whole foods capsules.

Being 15 fruits and veggies, I will need the phytonutrients to keep my immune system

in top condition.

I will keep you apprised of my progress as a way for me to stay accountable.  Feel free
to post your thoughts here.  One aspect that I feel will be most interesting is how the
process will affect my parenting (will I be a super crabby mom, sluggishly tired or
something else?).

Check back tomorrow as I begin the Ease-In process and cut down my solid foods.
